I've been fortunate in that the bullying stopped for me after I graduated high school, but this has stirred up something in me. Maybe after I've cooled down, I will look into efforts to stop online bullying. I'm a hurricane of emotions right now, and none of them are what I wanted to feel today. There isn't a whole lot more I can say about this. I recommend against actually visiting unless you want to see some of the worst in humanity. If you're not familiar with the site, KF is basically a site of forums dedicated to online harassment. In fact, that's how I even learned about Kiwi Farms. It's been documented that he has been harassed by Kiwi Farms in the past. It also turns out Near was a furry, and bullied for being one, which is why I decided to post here.
That's most of what I knew about him until a year or two ago. If you are into emulation at all, you most likely have benefited from his efforts, even if you didn't know his name. He was a huge force in the emulation community. He's mainly known as the developer of bsnes/higan, the most accurate SNES emulator out there.
